Schedule & Results
The 2026 Westside Invitational runs June 5-7, 2026 at Parma Town Park and Grace & Truth Sports Park in Hilton, NY. The tournament features boys and girls divisions across four age groups: U8-U10, U11-U12, U13-U14, and U15-U19.
Tournament Structure
Teams compete in round-robin pool play, with the top two teams in each division advancing to a championship match. In some divisions, a third-place game may also be played. Pool play games can end in a tie (no overtime). Championship and semifinal ties are decided by FIFA penalty kicks -- there are no overtime periods.
Teams must arrive at their assigned field at least 15 minutes before game time. Any team not present 10 minutes after the scheduled start will forfeit the game.
Points & Tiebreakers
Win = 3 points | Tie = 1 point | Loss = 0 points | Shutout = 1 bonus point (0-0 ties do not count) | Red card or coach ejection = minus 1 point
When teams are tied in points, standings are determined in the following order:
- If 2 teams are tied, the result of head-to-head competition (if 3 or more teams are tied, skip to #2 below); if still equal, then:
- The number of goals against; if still equal then;
- The team with the most wins, if still equal, then:
- The goal differential for EACH WIN (maximum of plus 3 per win); if still equal, then:
- The most shut-outs; if still equal, then:
- FIFA penalty kicks tie-breaking procedure under the supervision of the head referee.
Ties at the end of regulation time in championship: semi-final or play-off games (where applicable) will be broken by the FIFA
penalty kicks tie-breaking procedure; there are no overtimes. Note that, for example, if a 3-way tie for a championship finalist is
broken in favor of one team using these procedures, then only 2 teams remain tied for the second tournament finalist slot; the
tie-break between these two teams is then decided all over again starting with step #1 above.
Note: Standings are not kept for U8, U9, and U10 divisions. All players in those age groups receive participation awards. Awards are presented to division champions and runners-up in all other divisions.
